Short note

Agents need boring infrastructure

Retries, timeouts, idempotency, logs. The interesting part of an agent is the model; the reliable part is everything else.

In practice

A durable session needs an owner for state, a clear execution boundary and a way to recover after interruption. These are visible design choices in Codypendent.

Tool discovery is a separate problem from permission to execute. Agent-Gantry and ADAPT-Agent explore those boundaries. Making the infrastructure explicit gives an agent failure somewhere useful to land.
